Stone Mountain Park offers all the beauty of the untouched Georgian wilderness with fun activities and attractions for the family. Georgia Frontier Days, happening between April 30 and May 3, offer a fun way to get engaged in the local events of the 1700s and 1800s. Between September 10 and 13, the Yellow Daisy Festival serves as a fun way for the whole family to explore music and regional crafts. Stay in one of the nearby hotels or rough it at the Stone Mountain Park Campground. Either way, make sure to make reservations in advance; the park is incredibly popular all season long.
